Replacing my TV with the Internet

I will not have a TV in my new appartment, but still some TV/video in the living room is a must, and in the end this is exactly why I bought my Mac Mini for some years back.
I recently found Plex, a very cool Media Center for Macs. It integrates very well with the videos I have on my hard drive (it groups episodes and seasons of TV series I have) and has extensions for Internet video and music content. Very cool!

Fine print: Of course, Plex suffers the typical problems open source software can have, e.g., instabilities, non-functioning extensions, etc. But it is free and I might be able to fix some of the most nagging problems myself.
